A man was accused of embezzling funds from a youth concession stand. At some point the guy's wife helped cops, showing them the "real" books vs the "fake" books that he kept while operating the stand for the McCutchanville Baseball and Softball League. Probably the biggest mistake the league make (among others) was letting Anthony "Andy" Ice put all the proceeds from each sale into his personal account, and then he would turn around and write a check back to the league. And no one thought there was anything fishy about that? You people got what you deserved. It is to be believed that he has taken over $5,000. WHAT A DIRT BAG
An assistant swim coach at Oxford HS faces felony charges for allegedly sending sexually explicit text messages to two 15-year-old girls on the school's dive team. Brandon Figurski, 20, from Lake Orion, served as the team’s assistant coach for only a couple weeks during August. Figurski started working with the swimmers on Aug. 13 and continued in that capacity for about six sessions, according to Nancy Kammer, deputy superintendent for Oxford Community Schools. When the Oakland County Sheriff ’s Office found out about the text message exchange, a computer crime detective assumed the identity of both girls and took over their cell phones. Officers say Figurski requested sexually explicit pictures be sent to him and suggested the girls engage in sex acts with him. When Figurski went to meet one of the girls, he was instead confronted by sheriff ’s deputies and arrested. Yet again another DIRTBAG
