THE BOXING MATCH OF THE YEAR

November 14, 2009 // 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT (HBO PPV)
Firepower // MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas
Personally im going to take Manny Pacquiao... But it would NOT surprise me is Miguel Cotto took the fight. I think if Pacquiao wins, itll be by either KO or TKO before the 11th round, If Cotto wins it'll be by Decesion. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a Split Decesion or a Draw. Either way its going to be a helluva brawl.

Danilo Gallinari had 19pts and 10 rbs. Knicks visit the Pacers this wednesday. Four Warriors had over 20 points, including Monta Ellis (left)

Bootleg condoms
Would you ever buy chinese condoms? More like would you ever buy COUNTERFEIT chinese Condoms. The fact is these are running wild in China... by the millions! They provide absoluetly no protection and possibly may increase the risk of disease. China has the fourth highest market in condoms in the World.
Number Change?
Lebron James wants to change his number from 23 to 6 next season. To honor Michael Jordan, so he'll change it to number 6 (his olympic number) which is also NBA legend Oscar Robertson's. Robertson with his Hall of fame Career emassing 11 NBA titles with 2 as a coach. The first black male to win an NBA title as a coach. Infact Lebron mentioned how the NBA should retire no.23 throughout the entire NBA... do you agree? The NHL did it with Wayne Gretzky.
Celebration
Is this taunt at the :20 second mark (wait for the goal) the most G thing possible/?? you be the judge
Bears @ 9ers
Did anyone watch the NFL game last night. It was the Bears @ the 49ers. I watched maybe a total of 3-4 Minutes. The Rangers/NBA/Sleep interested me more in what could of been the poorest of telecasts i have ever witnessed. The sound was off, the commentators sucked and so did the angels. Oh yeah did i mention that the actual football fuckin BLEW.Alex Smith Won a start while Jay Cutler tossed 5 picks putting him up at 17 for the season... YIKES! Matt Forte Topped 2,500 total yards in his career in his first 25 games. First Bear to do so since Gale Sayers.

this Celebration is now banned because of Captain Morgan.... WTF.... the NFL.. NO FUN LEAGUE..The campaign was set to be unveiled next week and was fairly simple: For every time a player was caught on camera striking the "Captain Morgan" during a regular season game, $10,000 would be donated to Gridiron Greats. For each instance in the playoffs, the donation would elevate to $25,000. And for instances in the Super Bowl, the bounty was slated to hit $100,000 per pose.
Wetteland
John Wetteland called the Police and when the police responded to calls of a possible suicidal person, the Mariners bullpen coach and former closer came out with his hands in the air, telling them he "needed help." More to follow as we get it. The story on the CBS 11 News website out of Dallas says that "officers took a call from the Argyle/Bartonville area at 12:30 p.m. Thursday on a possibly suicidal person. When officers arrived to the home, a man later identified as Wetteland came out with his hands in the air, saying he "needed help.''

KG JR... back for one more year.
Ken Griffey Jr. has reached agreement on a one-year deal to return to the Seattle Mariners in 2010 in what will be his 22nd year in the majors. The deal is similar to the 2009 contract that paid Griffey a base salary of $2 million and earned him $3.15 million total with incentives.
"The framework of this year's contract is similar to last year's," Griffey's agent, Brian Goldberg, said by telephone from Cincinnati. Griffey batted .214 in 117 games with the Mariners last season. But he hit 19 homers, drove in 57 runs and drew a team-leading 63 walks. He was limited by a swollen left knee that required a second operation last month. After spending his first 11 seasons with Seattle, he played nine more with theCincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox. Griffey returned to the Mariners in 2009 under rookie manager Don Wakamatsu and almost single-handedly transformed what had been a fractured, bickering clubhouse with his leadership, energy and constant pranks.
Griffey, who turns 40 on Nov. 21, ranks fifth on Major League Baseball's career list with 630 home runs. The man with the sweetest swing.

Al Horford scored a season-high 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Josh Smith added 22 points and 12 boards, and the Atlanta Hawks sent the New York Knicks to their fifth straight loss with a 114-101 victory Wednesday night. Toney Douglas scored a season-high 23 points in his first start for the Knicks (1-8), off to their worst start since also dropping eight of nine to open the 2002-03 season. Al Harrington also had 23, but drew loud groans from the crowd after botching a wide-open layup with a little more than 4 minutes left. The Knicks extended the lead to 14 -- their largest of the season -- with 2 1/2 minutes to go after the second of Harrington's consecutive baskets, before Atlanta scored the final six to cut it to 54-47 at the break. The Knicks fall to 0-8 and will play Golden State Friday.

The Knicks host Golden State on Friday to finish a stretch of three straight and seven of eight games at home. ... New York was still without reserve guard Nate Robinson (sprained right ankle), who could return Friday. ... The Knicks had trailed by 20 or more in six of their first eight games.

BASEBALL FREE AGENT RANKINGS
The Elias rankings of potential free agents is hot off the presses (well, hot off my e-mail file) from the Major League Baseball Players Association.
The Mariners have two Type B free agents, which means they rank between the top 21 to 40 percent of players (as determined by the Elias player rankings, sanctioned by MLB): Adrian Beltre and Erik Bedard. That means if they are offered arbitration by the Mariners and sign with another team, the Mariners get a "sandwich pick" (between the first and second round) as compensation. None of the other Mariner free agents got a Type A (top 20 percent) or B ranking. Teams that lose a Type A player to whom they offered arbitration are compensated with the signing club's first- or second-round pick (depending on where they are drafting) and a sandwich pick.
The rest of the Mariners' free agents are unranked, meaning there is no compensation required if they sign with other teams.
Here are the Type A free agents, as listed by the union (I'm not even sure if these have already been released; I know there's been a lot of speculation; a few people have cracked the code of the Elias Rankings, most notably Eddie Bajek of Detroit Tiger Thoughts. These are official, however):

The impact, obviously, is that teams really have to want a Type A player to sign him, because the loss of a high draft pick is not something to trifle with. The Mariners have been linked to Orlando Hudson, for instance. He's a Type A. Would the Mariners want to give up their No. 1 pick to sign Hudson? I have my doubts.

The Razorbacks will suit up just nine players for their opener on Friday, and five guys in all have been suspended, the penalty for momentarily turning the program into Caligula of the Ozarks.
Starters Courtney Fortson (pictured) and Stefan Welsh are out indefinitely. Also suspended were Marcus Britt, Glenn Bryant and Nick Mason, each of whom attended a frat party in August where a freshman claimed she had been raped by three unnamed basketball players. (No charges were filed.) Let us now recall the Twittery words of Fortson, shortly after news of the rape investigation broke:
