Jersey Shore finale
Tonight is upsetting…… Simply because it’s the end of the first season of MTVs Jersey Shore. Its going to be tough with out the new drama, stories, laughs, hot bitties and of course shenanigans. Hope tonight will be good, as it usually is. sighhhhhhhhhhhhh....but something tells me we will be seeing all of them in one way or another some time soon. It wouldn't surprise me if the Situation comes back to visit in future seasons, kinda like that ole man frat guy that wants to crash on the couch.
LA KINGS
The jersey shore broads invade a recent LA Kings game..... ahhh Angelina.... im sure she and her family hates her for leaving the house and tens of thousands of dollars......................... idiot

Padre Sanchez
NY Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez might have to get an extra ticket to the AFC Championship game this weekend — TMZ has learned his fire captain father will not be deployed to Haiti to aid in relief efforts. Mark’s father, Nick, runs a fire department in Irvine, California that happens to be one of 28 urban search and rescue teams in the U.S — and last week the guys were told to prepare in case their services were needed in Haiti. TMZ has learned an 80 member group composed of rescue personnel from Orange County was mobilized and sent to March Air Force Base over the weekend — but Nick was not selected to travel with that group. Eventually, the 80-member task force was demobilized before they were shipped out to Haiti. Now, Nick claims he’s going to Indianapolis to watch his son attack the Colts – but reminded us that his fire team is always preparing for “the opportunity to use our expertise

Cant Knock the ISLES
Guess who is one of the hottest teams in the NHL right now... Yup I know you didnt guess the New York Islanders, but they are. Today they royally roughed up one of the top goaltenders of this season and all time as they defeated Martin Brodeur and the NJ Devils this afternoon on Long Island (4-0). They have won 9 of their last 11 including 4 straight with two of those being victories of 6-0 and 4-0 over Detroit and NJ. They also are making their move in the conference towards the final playoff push. Currently they sit in the 8th and final playoff spot but are only 2 points back of 5th. The Isles also are 3-1 this season vs their cross town rival Rangers . Great news came last week as the Islanders welcome back the return of franchise player and goaltender Rick Dipietro. He has had 2 injury plagued seasons and is finally healthy. His last 2 starts he defeated Top place Buffalo in a shoot out 3-2 and today he posted his first shutout in 2 years. With him in net back to his old self look for the Islanders to cause some damage in the upcoming months. With solid goaltending from DP and Dwayne Roloson, a veteren defense led by Andy Sutton and Mark Streit, combined with their youth on offense which is headed by Kyle Okposo, Matt Moulson and John Taveres and look for the islanders to be strong contenders for the NHLs second season.
Future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur
