So I went to yesterday's Jets,Bills game at the Meadowlands. I had no idea what type of tailgating fiesta I was instore for. We arrive to just before 1:45 an insane amount of Tents and overhangs. Due to the rain ofcourse. These guys have trailors, RVs, Full Grilles, buffet's ,kegs, coolers, couches, kegerator's. I was amazed. It was like mardi gras but before a football game. Football games drinking games etc were going one all during this time. There was even a game called "piss wars" which was obligated to the porta-johns. The location we were at was of some Long Island gentlemen that my brother in-law know's. They have a trailor hitched to a Chevy Avalanche. The truck is white with green stripe. The Trailor (right) is green and white with the Jets Logo plastered all over. It costs 55 dollars for trailors to park and you must get their early cause you must park near a curb. Trailors who fail to park near a curb are either towed or must remove the vehicle. Inside the trailor was a full bedroom and bathroom. Outside has a flatscreen TV under an awning just near the buffet which was stocked. It hit me, this is a culture. Not just for fun, but these guys do this with a passion and its amazing. Ole stories to some and told to make them new to others. I was truely astonished. What was even more crazy is when the NJ State police decided to drop by for some burgers and to hang out... that was kinda cool too.For 15 bucks a person gets you all you can drink soda and beer, and all you can eat Plus they had the Giants game on too. It was truely an amazing time.
