World Series Game 2 Recap

The Yankees bats did nothing till Mark Teixiera's solo shot in the 4th, Matsui would tab one up himself in the 6th too. Pedro pitched well but AJ pitched Lights out his fast ball was moving and his curveball was tight with a tremendous amount of movement. Its been said when hes on AJ has a top 3 Curve in the game. TOwards the end of his game he was flat out un-hittable 7 Innings 4 Hits with 9 Ks for the Yankees Rightie. The phillies would strike first in the 2nd but the Yankees took it the rest of the way. Posada pinch hit in the 7th with a HUGE rbi basehit. Mariano Rivera came in and hammered out a 39 pitch 2 inning save, MO would strike out 2 batters. Another question is ... did Charlie Manuel pull his best Grady Little impression by leaving Pedro in too long? The clean up hitters combine for 7 ks. Howard with 4 and A-rod with 3

Ed Tierney: AJ became a Yankee tonight pitching the biggest game of his life. He was unhittable towards the end and look tremendous. This Pitching Performance between pedro and aj was great cant wait for game 5. Yankees still gotta get the bats rolling though.

Andrew Tilden: AJ silences his critics gave his best performence as a yankee in their biggest game of the year. Shut down the potent phillie bats in a must win game, made Girardi's job easy with the bridge to MO.

Rob Luckett: Buiness like W... AJ was at his best and the Yankees took advantage of the frew opportunites Pedro gave them. Mariano Looks like hes 25 again... DIRTY..

WATCH WHERE YOU WANNA HAVE SEX.. YOU DONT KNOW WHO OR WHAT IS WATCHING

COLUMBIA, S.C. — A deputy assistant attorney general who said he was on his lunch break when an officer found him with a stripper and sex toys in his sport utility vehicle has been fired, his boss said Wednesday. Roland Corning, 66, a former state legislator, was in a secluded part of a downtown cemetery when an officer spotted him Monday, according to a police report obtained by The Associated Press under the Freedom of Information Act. As the officer approached, Corning sped off, then pulled over a few blocks away. He and the 18-year-old woman with him, an employee of the Platinum Plus Gentleman's Club, gave conflicting stories about what they were doing in the cemetery, Officer Michael Wines wrote in his report, though he did not elaborate.
Corning gave Wines a badge showing he worked for the state Attorney General's Office. Wines, whose wife also works there, called her to make sure Corning was telling the truth.
He then searched the SUV, where he found a Viagra pill and several sex toys, items Corning said he always kept with him, "just in case," according to the report.
Corning and the woman were let go without charges. Wines' wife reported the call to her supervisor, who told Attorney General Henry McMaster.
"We received credible information about inappropriate behavior Monday afternoon," McMaster said Wednesday. "And by the close of business, he was no longer working here."
Such a trip to the cemetery "would not be appropriate, at any time, for an assistant attorney general," McMaster said. There was no answer Wednesday at a number listed for Corning, who was a Republican legislator in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was hired in 2000 by the attorney general's office, where he worked on securities cases.
South Carolina has had its share of scandal lately, most notably Gov. Mark Sanford's disappearance in June. His office told reporters he was hiking the Appalachian Trail, but he was really in Argentina visiting his mistress.

WS game 1 Recap

Okay for those who don't know, some of my days start at 3:50am and end a little after 7:30pm. As you may realize I may be a bit exhausted. Which I was yesterday and I fell alseep in the 4th inning. Therefore I didn't get to witness the end of that debacle. Thank god. I usually update this after the game, but i was sleeping not running. So here it is.

CC Sabathia Pitched great, but Cliff Lee pitched something equivilant to 10 times great. The bats were asleep last night with the exception of El captian Derek Jeter. Phil Hughes and Brian Bruney didn't help either really putting the game away for the phillies by giving up 4 runs in 2 innings. Coke, Marte and Robertson pitched well in relief though too. Chase "babe ruth" Utley looked insane as he stroked 2 Home runs of the right field wall. Philly strikes first in the best of 7 series winning game 1 6-1. Thats all the NLCS champions would need. Yankees look to rebound tonight in game 2 as they send AJ Burnett in a not "must win" but yes a must win game.

Islanders Knicks

ISLANDERS

Last night the Islanders hosted the rival Rangers at the Nassau Coliseum. I know the Islanders are tied for the lowest win total in the NHL thus far into the season with 1. They are 1-4-5. That 5 stands for over time losses or as it used to be called "regulation ties". If you think of it, if they win 3 of those games they are 4-4-2. A completely different record and a completely different feel. I'm not making excuses for them, far from it but what I am saying is that the Isles may not be as bad as their previously stated record shows. Only a few different bounces here and there separates a door mat to a mid level team. One of the younger teams in the NHL played their hearts out. The Isles upended the Blue shirts yesterday 3-1. Isles would get goals from young stars Matt Moulson, Kyle Okposo and of course John Taveres. The Rangers loan Goal game from Marion Gaborik replacement PA Parenteau. The number one star of the game was Isles goalie Dwayne Roloson who stood on his head all game long saving 34 shots. Although the Shirts were missing Gaborik, they still have enough power to over come the Isles who won their second game, the Rangers are faltering lately after storming out of the gate. Next the Islanders visit the nations capital for a halloween eve battle vs the Washington Capitals.

Kyle Okposo #21

KNICKS

Talk about getting blown out to start the season. The Knicks looked god awful in their loss to Heat last night, 115-93. I mean putrid. Could the season be over just one game in? Nate Robinson looked horrendous, Gallinari looked good when the game was out of reach. Yet again David Lee and Al Harrington shouldering the load just like last year. Well going back to my earlier question, I think not, in the preview I think the Knicks will be hanging around most of the season and I feel the same then yesterday and now. I think they'll win minimum of 34 games this year and be in contention for the final Eastern playoff spot... Hey it could be worse, we could 0-2 like Cleveland. Besides Lee, Harrington and Gallinari, Darko Milicic (right) played well coming off the bench for 4 pts and 7 boards.  Don't jump off the Knicks yet. Its only one game in! If that was the case then we all would of deserted the Yankees early on. The Knicks visit the Bobcats on friday who were Demoralized by the Celtics last night as they were held to 59 pts.

OH YEAH AND IF YOU DIDNT SEE IT FROM ANOTHER POST HERES A MATH PROBLEM

Kentucky U Education + NBA Draft pick + 110 million dollars "earned" in the NBA - 114millions =
Fromer Boston Celtics Star  Antoine Walker

How does this happen. How do you blow through all that money, That is discraceful. Im not going to say that im happy... well yes i am. This is dispicable how a person can do this while people struggle.

You gonna need that "shimmy" when your waiting on the Unemployment line asshole

Walker was arrested earlier this year at a Harrah's Tahoe cabaret bar in Lake Tahoe on criminal charges stemming from $822,500 in gambling debts in Las Vegas. Walker, who last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2008, was released after posting $135,000 cash bail following his arrest

Its still sweet to post this. I may keep doing it too.
