• The Jets clinched the final playoff spot in the AFC by throttling the Bengals for their second shutout of the season.
• After losing six of seven games, the Jets finished the season by winning five of their last six to reach the postseason for the first time since 2006.
• The Jets will be the No. 5 seed in the AFC, traveling to Cincinnati to play the Bengals on Saturday.
• The Bengals, who had five first downs in the game, head into the postseason having lost three of their last four games and are shut out for the first time since 2001.
• The Jets rushed for 258 yards and had three different players with at least 60 rushing yards, led by Brad Smith's career-high 92 yards and his first rushing TD of the season.

Ryan led his players back onto the field after a few minutes in the locker room, celebrating with a victory lap and high-fiving the few thousand remaining fans."It was great," cornerback Darrelle Revis said. "We had to give back to the fans. Several other teams in playoff contention lost, setting up the Jets' win-and-in game against the Bengals."I don't believe we backed into anything," Ryan said, "so we're going to try to prove it."Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco said his team would be ready."We'll be fine," he said. "We'll study a lot of things we can fix, especially offensively. Next week will be a lot more serious."Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards boldly told the fans earlier in the week that New York wouldn't lose, and his teammates backed him up big-time.


 For those who think the Jets Backed in. Tough Shit.  Pitt .... GO out and beat the raiders, chiefs and browns some of the worst teams in the NFL... all whom you lost to.... Houston.... next time beat the Jets, and then your in. But you teams didn't do what you were supposed to....so therefore you got NO BEEF. 


The Jets Got a Gift, but Jets and their fans will not and should not be apologetic. 


Why I think the Jets can win. Specifically 5 Players in Mind, but i will just refer to them as the "Offensive Line". 2 Pro-bowlers and could of made and argument for the other 3. They have the best O-Line in football. BETTER THEN DALLAS. BUT also, include Revis, T-Jones and the other members of the that Stout Defense and their will be a helluva game this Saturday afternoon.
