My Bronx Tale

7:45am Friday Morning: I receive a text asking if I wanted to go to the Yankees game

8:00am: How much I replied.
8:02am: 150$ for a 3 pack
8:03am: I respond hell yes and the plan progresses
After my day of work:
I showered and we were off. Ed(T) being our third in the pack and meeting us down there (Yankee Stadium) we proceed to head south from albany, to catch a train into the city. We scoop a 18 pack for the ride down. I drank 13 of them! We catch the train and were prepared for our 90 minute ride. We arrive in the boogie down around 630 and try to head to the local bars for another drink waiting for our companion. This being my first time to either Yankee Stadium, I was star stuck and a little tipsy. We meet up with Ed and we make our way toward the entrance. We were frisked and it seems that we all were violated.
We get to our 50$(well under face value)seat which just so happened to be the 2nd row behind the Yankee bullpen. Someone I grew up with walks up to me and say hello and all that crap and he asks me what I paid for the seats. I responded 50. He being shocked, he says I paid 180 3 weeks ago. I proceed to chuckle and say see ya later. Poor Torii Hunter... NOT! We ripped him the whole night. Jeter had the place rocking and such. Game was Awesome! Big Game 1 win and I am 1-0 in Yankee Stadium appearances. We finally split and head to our train where the real fun began.
A 90 minute ride back feeling like shit because of the booze on an empty stomach. About 30 minutes from our stop a group of hooligans began to gather around the bathroom. Their friend went into a bathroom that was out of order and got trapped for about 20 minutes. The train was stopped and out came the "Emergency Crowbar" WTF. As they break it open the conductor magically appeared. Who would of thought. The rest of the ride was full of bathroom and trap jokes. We got back home around 3. Best night of my life. It was something I could never forget! Seeing the man I grew up loving, and having a man crush on, Derek Jeter, I witnessed him! Woot
To wrap this up... My biggest discover of my life occurred that night. I found out that Torii rhymed with bitch. Who knew the English language would perplex me again!
Sanchez = shit (squared)
Sanchez = shit

NY JETS vs. BUFFALO BILLS PREVIEW

I will be at the Jets game today. A live blog though is still up in the air due to the Weather.

A stifling defense spurred the New York Jets' surprising 3-0 start, but the unit hasn't looked nearly as effective in two subsequent defeats. Coach Rex Ryan may have an ideal chance to change that against the punchless Buffalo Bills. Ryan and the Jets will try to re-establish their brash, hard-hitting defensive play Sunday when they host the Bills, who are searching for an end to their three-game slide.
New York (3-2) won its first three games behind a superb defense that allowed averages of 11.0 points and 256.0 yards per game while forcing seven turnovers. Ryan's revamped Jets exuded a brash and outspoken attitude that was a staple of his defense in Baltimore, where he spent the last 10 years.
The defense, however, hasn't been very effective in consecutive losses. The unit allowed 343 yards in a 24-10 defeat at New Orleans on Oct. 4 and gave up season highs in passing yards (262) and total yardage (413) en route to a 31-27 defeat at Miami on Monday night.
It absolutely was a humbling experience," Ryan said after the Jets blew three second-half leads and struggled against the Dolphins' wildcat offense. "This is a step back, but we can make a huge leap forward. We've just got to learn from this and we've got to practice better. "As a coach, I'm not going to allow this to happen again. We've got to get back and sharpen up what we do defensively. I know we have the talent. We just have to play better."
Despite the back-to-back losses, New York is tied with New England for first in the AFC East. However, the trash talking may be curbed after a poor fourth-quarter effort against the Dolphins saw New York give up three touchdowns, equaling the total the defense allowed over the previous four games.

JETS SIGN WR WOODHEAD OF PRACTICE SQUAD
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The New York Jets have signed wide receiver Danny Woodhead to the active roster from the practice squad, and released defensive tackle Howard Green.

Saturday's moves come with the Jets possibly a bit short-handed in their receiving corps for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Jerricho Cotchery (left hamstring) and Brad Smith (quadriceps) are listed as doubtful for the matchup.
Woodhead recently was converted from running back to wide receiver, and even changed his jersey number from 22 to 83. Coach Rex Ryan said the former NCAA career rushing leader from Chadron State could make an excellent slot receiver.

To be perfectly honest, Ive always said that Trent Edwards is shit. Hes horrible. He is just a shitty QB. I think JP Losman was better. I really hope that today Edwards is exposed for the shitty NFL QB he really is. Hes not a gunslinger or a game manager... he just isnt good at all. The Bills O-Line hasn't been good lately and I expect the Jets to Feast.
The Jets should be well prepared considering Monday Nights wild cat debacle. Jones, Washington and Green will run all over the Bills D and they stretch the field with Braylan Edwards and Dustin Keller; even in the slop that the meadowlands will be. Edwards first game at home, I think hes going to have a monster game just like the home team. Keller on the other hand has been on a milk carton considering hes been missing the WHOLE season. Its up to Mark Sanchez though to get him the Magic Bean.
The Bills do have weapons though, this isnt going to be a cake walk. Fred Jackson is averaging almost 4.5 a pop and is dangerous. TO and Lee Evans can still turn on the switch at anytime. An Old off TO is still more dangerous then the average NFL WR. I expect Revis and Sheppard to shut down the BIlls WRs and have the D bring 8 in the box.
The Jets are 2-0 at home, and Buffalo is 0-2 on the road. Cause today is an ole' AFL matchup I assume were going to see those amazing AFL uni's

ALCS game 2... wow ....Yankees up (2-0)

Okay, So like game 2 of the ALDS, when you think the BOMBERS are dead and gone like JT n T.I. BOOM theirs A-ROD. He did it again. Saving the game when their down in what could be the last inning. Idk how hes doing it . I mean he is A-rod one of the best of all time, but hes playing out of this world. OUTTA CONTROL. It was a sloppy game... real sloppy. The weather sucked just as much as the fielding. What do you expect when you have games in late October, Cant wait for November ball ... JK! Joe Girardi made some moves tonight that made me think what in the hell is he doing. He let Coke pitch to one guy... okay hes a lefty but to take Joba out after one batter is a little absurd, hes all juiced up. He seems that hes always playing for 9 innings an never thinks the game can continue further. I mean let joba go the 8th , MO the 9th then you have hughes for extra's. I felt he really mismanaged the pen. BUT: all the moves worked. the IBB to get to Mathews Jr. Worked, everything went as planned and they won the game so i cant complain.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:
Yankees Bullpen
Coke, Chamberlain, Hughes, Mariano Rivera- (2.1 innings 2k's ),Aceves, Marte,
Robertson (1.1innings 1 k *W*) overall- 6.2 innings 5H 1ER 6K

Play of the Game
A-Rod HR in the 11th

Goat of the Game:
Brian Fuentes- Giving up the "play of the game" will do it
Macier Izturis- The Error in the 13th pretty much got you tagged in this one like fuentes

AJ Burnett Pitched a Gem tonight
Shuttin' up all the haters

OMG A-ROD

Andrew Tilden: "its a-rod, he'll fuckin choke"
Next pitch... SEE YA! TIE GAME 3-3 in the 11th

btw ... why did girardi leave joba in for only 1 out... WTF???

Top of the 12th here we go
